Great Guild Getaway – Session 2

• Cost – Friday evening through Sunday brunch – $375
• Who – Initially registration will only be open to Minnesota Knitters’ Guild members. There are only twenty-four spots available. If it does not sellout it may open to non-members for an additional fee.
• Meals – Registration includes Monday – Dinner; Tuesday Brunch and Dinner; Wednesday – Brunch; OR Friday – Dinner; Saturday – Brunch and Dinner; Sunday – Brunch. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan meals are available when requested at registration.
• Rooms – Variety of rooms: 1 room sleeps 2 people; 1 room sleeps 4 people and 6 rooms sleep 3 people. Each room has full-sized beds and its own bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Beds have down alternative pillows and comforters. Bathroom has towels, shampoo & hair dryer. Registrants will have the opportunity to let us know who they would like to room with at registration.
• Accessibility – All bathrooms feature an accessible shower. The retreat center is all on one floor with no stairs.
• Activities – We will start on Night 1 with introductions and sharing a project or two we plan to work on at the retreat. We will have Bingo on Night 2. On Day 3, we will have a show and tell and a yarn/project swap. If you want to participate in the swap, please bring a wrapped package of yarn or a project for the swap. Lots of time to socialize and knit!
• What to bring – Your knitting supplies, tools and please bring a wrapped package of yarn or a project for the swap if you want to participate. Each participant will be assigned to bring a savory, a healthy or a sweet treat to the session they sign up for. You may also bring other for yourself or to share. Water, coffee, and hot water for tea are available all day, but guests should bring any other drinks, including alcohol, that they would like.
• Refund Policy – Prior to January, 23, 2026, if we are able to resell your spot, we will refund the full registration amount less a $10.00 processing fee. After January 23, 2026, there will be no refund.

FAQ:

Can I have a private room?
The rooms can hold 2, 3 and 4 occupants. There are no private rooms. First come, first serve to get the 2 and 4 person rooms. Most rooms hold 3 people.

Can I bring alcohol to this retreat center?
Yes

When I get assigned a treat to bring, can I bring something else instead?
Each participant will be assigned to bring a savory, a healthy or a sweet treat to the session they sign up for. If you would rather bring sweet and you were assigned savory, for example, that would be fine. The idea is to avoid too many of one type of food.

Are there classes at the retreat?
No. Each participant should bring what they would like to work on. We are knitting together and having a relaxed time at the retreat center.

What if there is severe weather?
The Great Guild Getaway will not be cancelled due to weather and you will not get a refund if severe weather keeps you from coming.
