Last year, the first virtual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service “Wrapped In Love” project was an astounding success, resulting in the creation of more than 100 knitted, crocheted and quilted baby blankets for the children of young people experiencing homelessness. Many also contributed homemade hats, scarves and toys. The creativity and beauty of all of the creations was inspiring. This year, we are planning “Wrapped In Love 2022.” Donated blankets will go to young moms being served by The Link, Avenues for Youth and The Bridge for Youth.
We hope you can join us for the kick-off Zoom knit-in
We will have some inspiring videos and our special guest will be Beth Holger, Executive Director of The Link to talk about how Minnesota will be the first state to tackle and put an end to youth homelessness.
This is event is not Guild affiliated, but is organized by Guild member Scott Dibble.
