Fair Isle Knitting with Amy Detjen
Amy has been to the Shetland Islands 17 times, and has taken classes with the most prolific and knowledgeable knitters there! She will talk about the traditions, the techniques, and the temptations of Fair Isle knitting.
Amy loves everything about knitting and knitters. She is passionate about solving stubborn knitting problems and helping knitters over hurdles. She doesn’t design too much, but would rather teach and talk about knitting. She teaches at Vogue Knitting Live events and was Meg Swansen’s assistant at her Knitting Camp for over 30 years. Amy co-authored Knitting with Two Colors with Meg Swansen.
