Our Yarn Shop of the Month is Rose Yarn Company. It is a new shop in Lakeville at the intersection of Cedar Ave and Dodd.
The shop owner, Jennifer, took up knitting as a healthy form of stress relief during her career as a 911 Paramedic, and is enjoying working in a much more low key environment now! Her team has a wealth of experience in several crafts with the majority of the staff/class instructors with 40-50+ years of experience. Some may recognize Shari, who worked and taught at Twisted Loop, Unwind and even Zandy’s back in the day. Nancy is our expert on all things crochet, and Mary is the queen of socks and spinning.
The shop carries some familiar such as Blue Sky Fibers, Madelinetosh, Rowan, Malabrigo, Berroco, Cascade, Urth, Koigu, Sweet Georgia, Rauma, Ito, Skacel, Sirdar, Appalachian Baby, Lang, Polka Dot Sheep, West Yorkshire Spinners, and regularly stocks locally dyed Palmer Yarn Co. and Ruby & Roses Yarn.
Our most popular shop samples currently are the Ariana Cardigan and the recently completed Twenty Four Birds Shawl.

After growing up in the city and suburbs, the owners of Get Bentz Farm felt a need to be closer to nature and to be more connected to where their food came from.
