This month’s designer is Teti Lutsak. She is botanist turned knitwear designer!
She is also known as Teti’s Knit Garden.
Thanks to Rebecca Anspach for suggesting Teti as a designer to spotlight.
After spending a decade studying biology, she found a creative escape from routine and strict lab protocols in knitting. Her knitwear designs embrace her Ukrainian heritage. Teti’s designs are inspired by nature, with floral color work patterns growing down the yoke of her sweater designs. We especially love the warm natural colors, delicate textures and simple construction.
We also love how she incorporates her botany knowledge into her pattern explanations – definitely something to check out in her Anaphase mitten pattern.
Teti is a “Proud Ukrainian living in The Netherlands.”
