December Meeting: Silent Auction and Potluck View Details
Come and share the joy of the season as we bring treats (both savory and sweet), bid on each others stash, and raise money for the Guild. All proceeds go to the Guild to support the upcoming year’s activities. Anything not sold goes back into the Guild’s stash for use in the upcoming year.
Edit your stash a little (or a lot!) for donation in our silent auction and bring a dish to share. This year, members are welcome to bring donation items to the November 15 Guild meeting. Learn more about the donation process here.
So get ready to bid, laugh, eat, knit and give 2016 a great Minnesota Knitters' Guild send-off!

Susan Rainey has been a passionate and enthusiastic knitter for over 50 years. She appreciates both the journey and the destination, and loves delving into the amazing variety of knitting – lace, cables, colorwork, you name it!
Susan discovered Herbert Niebling in 2007 and has never been the same! She will share her journey and her “Nieblings” in a presentation titled "The Legacy of Herbert Niebling: Artistry in Lace."
Raise your pinkies and purl two! Our annual tradition continues: the February meeting gets whisked over to a civilized hour on Sunday afternoon, and we gather for some tea* and scones and social time and sharing. This is a great opportunity for those who live a little further afield—or for whom weeknight meetings aren’t possible—to join us in person. There’s no formal programming at the February tea other than a few announcements (and door prizes, of course). Bring a project or two, meet some new folks and keep those pinkies high!
* There will also be coffee. We are Minnesotans, after all.
Join the Guild today!
Get the most out of your love of knitting! Membership benefits include pre-registration for Yarnover, a subscription to our quarterly Cable Gram, organized public service projects and camaraderie with fellow knitters. Annual dues are $30.
