Janine is known as the Feralknitter on Ravelry, which, according to her website, means she is “someone who loves color knitting, playing with color combinations and garment shapes, and learning about construction and fit.”
If that sounds like you, or if you're at least interested in trying your hand at Fair Isle design, Janine will offer a day-long class at Yarnover 2017 called The Fair Isle Tam: Learning to Use Color. A full class description can be found in the Yarnover 2017 brochure.

January is National Knit Mitten Month and we are inviting all Guild members to join us in knitting a pair of mittens during the month. Knit a pair for yourself, for a gift, or for charity.
As part of the celebration, we are having a knit along with the MN Nice Mittens, a pattern that will be free exclusively to Minnesota Knitters' Guild Members in early January here on the Guild website (exact date to come).
In the meantime, visit our Ravelry group to get yarn shopping information and other tips for knitting these mittens as we go along.
Bring any mittens you knit in January to show off at the Guild's February tea and be entered to win a prize.
Show off your knitwear designer skills in our Great Guild Getaway Design Contest! We are looking for an original, one skein, wearable accessory pattern to show off our exclusive yarn from Three Irish Girls. The winner receives free registration to the Great Guild Getaway in March and $100 in prizes. Deadline to enter is Tuesday, November 15th, so get those entries in. You can find all the details and rules in our Ravelry group.
Get the most out of your love of knitting! Membership benefits include pre-registration for Yarnover, a subscription to our quarterly Cable Gram, organized public service projects and camaraderie with fellow knitters. Annual dues are $30.
